Today Aladdin wins over the Princess and the Sultan and makes an enemy in the Vizier.
Remember when I said I didn't root for Aladdin through the story? Today's excerpt is a big, big part of why that is.
This week we're going to begin a new and yet familiar tale, 'Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp'. But this certainly isn't the Disney version, as will be apparent as the story goes on.
Today we have the conclusion of 'Cinderella, or the Little Glass Slipper', and the ending here is my favorite of all of the Cinderella endings around. It's probably the closest to a happily ever after we'll get.
Our final story of the week will be told in two parts, one will be rather familiar and the other may hold some surprises. Today we have the familiar beginning of 'Cinderella, or the Little Glass Slipper'.
Today we get the real ending of 'The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood' and find out what the Ogress Queen Mother's horrible longing was.
On Wednesday we finished up the Disney part of the classic fairytale 'The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood'. Now we're going to find out what was cut off at "...and they lived happily ever after."
In Part 3 of 'The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood' our Prince will find his Princess and she'll wake up because it's been 100 years.
In Part 2 of 'The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood' we'll see the fallout of the princess finding the old woman spinning in the tower.
We began the week with and ending and will end the week with a beginning, the beginning of a rather long tale that tracks the life of a very familiar character, 'The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood'.
